I think I want to start off this blog with something beautiful. So.
I heard about Nitin Sawhney about a year back. One of those, "Gotta remember to check out his CD" things. Aaaaand, no. Didn't remember. Well, NPR reminded me yesterday. Ohhh, what a talent. Such beautiful music. Fusion. I like everything about the idea of fusion - musically, culturally, and otherwise. And Nitin Sawhney does it all - impeccably, I think. Anything that transports me to another time and place gets thumbs up from me...
